Using 20 lb propane tank on Performer

Anyone have experience using an adapter like this to be able to use a 20 lb tank on a Performer instead of the 1 lb tank. Not sure I attached the link correctly but it is a hose that has one end that attaches to the 20 lb tank and the other end has a male end that fits in the Performer.

Yes that will work just fine. Same style that allows you to hook up a big tank to a Q gasser

I bought a fancy one with a built in gauge to tell me how full the tank is

I've got a regular rubber one, but I'm much happier with it. I don't have a gauge on mine, but I can pick up the tank and shake it a bit to see if I'm running low on fuel. With the 1lb tanks, I had no idea how much was left until it wouldn't light, or I'd notice my charcoal not lighting adequately.
