No not like corn muffin. Just a subtle taste and a bit of texture from the polenta. Not as sweet as a normal upside down cake.

When we need a quick easy desert for a gathering this is my go to as we always have the ingredients on hand. Iv'e used frozen blueberries, strawberries, mix berries, peaches. All are good.
