Congrats on the grill. I've had mine for a month or so, really like it. One suggestion: Don't put your grill in shutdown until you're absolutely positive you don't need it anymore. It takes a long time to shut down and more than once I wish I hadn't. Shut down takes a minimum of 15 minutes, often longer. To decrease the shut down (if need be) open the lid, it knocks about 5 minutes off the shutdown
If my old brain is working I seem to remember that Weber recommends shutting down with the lid open. I tend to forget that part. :rolleyes:

Agreed. Not sure why it really needs to be that long. I've watched it, and it seems to run a lot more than necessary to just shutdown. I know what they say that it is doing, just wondering if it really needs to go through all of that.
