I discovered a great bbq sauce at Sunset Foods in Highland Park. It's called Uncle Mel's. I used the Sweet & Sassy on some St Louis ribs that I smoked over the weekend. Just delicious. I have no vested interest in this company but I liked the sauce so much, I decided to post.. I found out about them as the owner was sampling his products when I was there. I know he makes a variety of sauces and rubs. I don't know where these products are available outside of Sunset Foods. The company is located in Wheeling, IL. I'm sure if you call Mel Plotsky, the owner, he'll let you know where else you can buy them.
