So you put the tape on the inside of the kettle?
Or the outside?
And just so we are on the same page... you are covering the actual one touch system vents? correct? the 2 not under the fire?
It seems like if you have the tape on the outside it might get in the way of the one touch slider. And if its on the inside you might get some sort of melting/chemical/taste issues.
Right now I only smoke on kettles and would be interested in trying this.
