I bought a used 18.5 WSM today. It has the installed lid hinge. It came with 3 covers.
The original Weber cover is a tight fit because of that hinge. So I guess that one is out.
The other two look nice. One is a Classic Accessories Hickory Series cover. It looks great and has breathable material. It looks water resistant but not water proof.
The other is a Classic Accessories Veranda Smoker Cover, rubber lined and therefore I guess waterproof.
Both have vents to help prevent condensation and both fasten at the bottom.
We have a rather long rainy season here every year. Should I go with the rubber lined all the time or only use it when those heavy, almost daily rains come and use the breathable the other 8 or 9 months?
Thanks.
