In my continuing effort to "thin the herd"...
In September 2004, I shipped a new WSM to the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational BBQ contest, part of a group of WSMs made available for the use of international teams coming to Lynchburg to compete. I was also asked to send a Virtual Weber Bullet website advertising banner which was displayed at the contest that year. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of it at the contest, you'll just have to take my word for it. In fact, I have to take Jack Daniel's word that it was displayed...I never saw it.
After the contest, I asked that they send the banner back to me. It's been sitting in a mailing tube in my office closet ever since...I never even unrolled it until taking the picture below.
If I was going to display this on the garage wall, I would have done it 19 years ago. It's not going to happen.
If you have the space to display something like this and you want it, I will ship it to you for free (U.S. only). If no one wants it, I'm going to toss it. It measures approximately 5' long x 2' wide, vinyl construction, reinforced holes for hanging, and is in very good condition.
