Traveler regulator issue?


 
Update: highly frustrated that I brought the grill up north for a week and the replacement regulator isn't letting gas through again. Is this really THAT common? Had the replacement less than a year!

That sucks! That shouldn’t happen. Call Weber. So far, I’ve had zero problems with my Traveler.

Just thinking… Could your issue be somewhere else like the burner? My traveler lives outside uncovered all the time but I keep mine set up as a full griddle now with 2 flat CI plates so burner is always covered from food. Could your burner holes be clogged up from falling grease?
 
I disassembled the regulator and can't even blow through it. Safety had tripped and simply will not reset. Weber is nice and sending a new one, but that doesn't cook my breakfast and dinners on vacation now so I've improvised. I used this regulator and the smallUnion to make it work. Have to adjust the regulator WAY down, but I'm in business!

Glad you we able to improvise. Hopefully the one Weber is sending solves the issue and builds your confidence that it won’t let you down again.
