Tired of Wires All Over

Tired of Wires all over the place from the probes on my grills. So ordered 3 of these (one for each pellet grill) and one for my Smoke to organize everything.
I will report back how I like them. Thinking if the magnets are strong enough I can slap these on the underside of the hopper lids. So there is no snagging when using a cover (though the Member's Mark sits in the garage with no cover). But still I like the idea of not having things on the sides of the grills.

Thumbs up from me. I've had them for about six months. The part the wire snaps into is tight so I don't use it for fear of damaging the wire.

Interesting- I have read earth magnets loose there effectiveness above certain temperatures- but I would guess the plastic would melt also if it got too hot.

Another nifty gadget I am going to have to do without since swearing of the purchase of anything made in The People’s Republic of China unless it’s absolutely unavoidable.

Well I guess over 90% of items are made there. Likely the keyboard we're all typing on, phones in our pocket, etc. Sadly even many items in our own military are made there (gauges and instruemnts in our planes and more). I agree it's awful, but it's impossible to avoid as it's so insidious.
I know if I can locate the same item not made there, I will buy that. Even if a little more $$$. Even if not made here but a more "friendly" country.
And re heat of plastic and such IIRC the literature says it's made of silicone. And for the magnets, I just avoind sticking them to a high heat area (which you would hope the hopper is not :D

In all seriousness, I think we both understand that the facilities producing “whatever” will most likely switch over to munitions when it gets hot, so for me it’s an easy decision.

Most crap we buy isn’t really necessary in the grand scheme, so just pass on sending US dollars directly to the war chest of our adversary.

You’ll save a few bucks in the process.

But it’s a free country so do as you see fit.

All the comments above are just my opinion anyway.

I bought a 4 pack from Thermoworks back in May when they had a sale going on.
I also bought a hard case so I keep everything in there, but they also have magnets.
The two from weber are nice, I keep them in a ziploc bag in the garage.

I should have done that! Everything I’ve gotten from Thermoworks has either been fantastic or replaced if one was defective! Great folks,
