had a package of 6 chicken thighs...
marinated 3 in Soul de Cuba Cafe Spicey Mojo... love the label!, and the other three were marinated in Tabasco Garlic Grillin'Marinatin' Sauce.
On the grill, Mojo on top, Tabasco lower...

Off the grill, this time- Tabasco on top, and MoJo lower...

The Tabasco Marinade was used on some wingsdings i did last week and the flavour was great... however, tonights "she-cone" was only marinated two hours tops. Perhaps the overnight marinatin'idea will add a more intense zing I expected... Same with the Spicey Cuban MoJo Marinade. Taste the MoJo right out of the bottle and certainly the heat is ON!

Anyway, both samples were good..
final verdict: Marinade overnight.
With Liz outta town on business for a coupla days, this gives me a chance to try various sauces and/or methods without the "awwMan, this tastes different"
Thank you for viewing

Enjoy the evening.

I would like to eat that chicken while listening to "The Heat is On"

Amazing photos... I officially need the CI grate.

Hi Jim - Nice job on the chicken thighs - I just picked up a bottle of the Tabasco Grillin and Marinating sauce and was going to try it. So you would suggest marinating overnight as opposed to a few hours? You made the cook look so good it looks like it would be hard for you criticize it. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to try that next week. Bob

The Wild Man, home alone, with only his own taste buds to please?
Now that's a sobering thought

Looks outstanding, Jim! Bet it was better than you're letting on. Let us know how it goes with the overnight marinade.
