Thoughts on the hunsaker vortex and basket in 18” WSM ?

I recently picked up a used for for dirt cheap to try out. I haven’t been able to find a lot of quick info from users. Is there a noticeable difference in length of burn or ease of high or low temps maintained ? Please chime in if you have one. Thanks dudes
 
I have the vortex without a basket. I just use the standard charcoal ring. I’ve found that it will run hot if you don’t start cutting it back earlier than you would without the vortex. I haven’t done long cooks with it yet but it seems to use less fuel. There is a current thread going about the 14 Hunsaker and it’s very detailed. Check it out.
