Thermometer silicone grommet?

My used WSM is missing the thermo silicon grommet. Just do generic one off Amazon? didn't find one at weber.

I don't have one on either of my WSM's but have read to rub a little veg oil around the back of it.
Makes it easier to install.

What do you use in place of the grommet, if you dont mind me asking?

I used to let my pit temp probe dangle into the top vent and slip my meat probe under the lid.
Both of my WSM's were pre grommet. If I was to install one I would go with a notch. I don't temp much anymore, just go by looks and feel.
