From last weekend: tri tip, potatoes and peppers. Diced baby red potatoes with S&P, fresh thyme, and EVOO got started in the CI. Then the tri tip after resting for hour and a half seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Smoked with the last of my hickory at about 325 till internal of 110.

Seared the tri tip to internal of about 125, then off for a rest.

Potatoes needed a few more minutes, but meat and peppers were outstanding!

It's not fair that you didn't use the words tri tip in your post title. Since I can't buy them and you guys keep torturing me with these posts I decided to quit looking at tri cooks. Well thank you very much for ruining what started out as a lovely day. Great looking steak by the way. :)
