The lid thermometer is broken on my WSM 22.5 - Can I buy a replacement?

Yep, it's stuck at about 200* and will not move. Can I clean it and get it working or should I just buy a replacement? Where can I buy a replacement? Home Depot? Lowes?

Definitely call Weber's customer service. Same thing happened to mine and I had a free new one with a week.

You can get a direct replacement on line. I got mine from All Parts The address is http://www.allpartsgrills.com/
search grills under Weber. Keep the housing. The insert is about 12 bucks. I get all my grill and smoker parts at this site.

Weber will probably send you a new one free. If not allpartsgrills or ereplacementparts will have it.

Had the same thing happen, when I did my last brisket, and it pored down rain while smoker was still very hot. Think that's what killed it. it now shows 180 in the house. They re registered my smoker and my 26.75 and sent a new one. Has anyone disassembled the thermometer yet to see the inner workings?
