Well, I tried this over the weekend and the results........

2 THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!!

LOTS of work...coring, but not cutting through the bottom(thank heavens I had my handy-dandy bologna core machine with me!!).....wideneing the core so as to fit the candy bar.....only 1/2 per apple was all I could fit in.

The end result is a baked apple with a melted Snicker bar that mostly ooozed through into the foil.....several bits of nuts from the melted bar, very messy servings, etc..

My advice............take a bite of apple and then a bite of Snicker's....now that's a great combo!!

LOL! Yes, some people like 'em, some people don't. One of my friends said the same thing as you...eating the apple and the candy bar separately would be better. And you're right, you can't get the whole candy bar in there, just about 1/2.

Still, kind of fun to try at least once.

How true!!

I will tell you one thing....it is defintely a show stopper!! Still doesn't top my bologna coring though....we always get a nice crowd for that!!
