The impossible task

Dumping or changing pellets and catching them in a container.

How about this idea ?

As to cleaning, I have learned compressed air is a huge advantage compared to the scraper deal.
The aluminum catch tray. Fold the edges down, it will pull out without hanging up.

I really don't dump my pellets, but I have a bag that is designed for pellet storage and I would use that if I ever did have to dump the pellets. It stands up on it's own so it would make it easier. You probably could use a plant grow bag as well.

That should work. I have a couple 5gal buckets and usually will put one of them on duty if dumping pellets.

when I had a pellet I was thinking of making something like this to control/divert the fall, but a 5 gallon bucket worked too.

When I say dump, I mean it as in changing the flavor. Weber does say that the pellets can absorb moisture and should be removed after 2 weeks. The lip lets you pour the pellets into the bag.

Don't count on it, ask me how I know>
