That's not brisket

The other day I went to my local Safeway to pick up a brisket flat. The usually have 7-8lb cryovac flats with a nice fat cap. It took a little bit of explaining but eventually one of the butchers returned with a big thick 10 pounder. It was trimmed more then usual and had a lot of liquid in the pack. I figured the extra thickness would compensate the lack of fat cap. I woke up early this morning started my chimney made my rub and opened the cryovac pack. I reached in grabbed the thin end and pulled. Out slid a paper thin flat, then another, another and another... Turns out they gave me a cryovac of five skirt of flank steaks.
I guess it'll be beef fajitas instead of brisket tonight.

how was the pack labeled? Do (original) cryo'd meats have to have a description of what's in the pack on the label?

No matter, it's a nasty trick they played on you.

brisket is usually $2/#, skirt & flank, usually >$8-9# here... Still, not getting what you ordered is not good.
