While I was doing something completely unrelated to grilling, I looked over to see that a frame bolt had loosened so, I went over and put the 7/16 on it. Well, it just spun so, I figured out that the bolt had managed to loosen from the “inside tube nut” thing and fussed with for a few minutes. Then went in search of the nuts that Bruce had been kind enough to specify as proper. an hour later I found them but whe I backed the bolt out I decided that it was pretty rusty and funky. Off to get some SS bolts. ten minutes after getting home, all is tight and functioning as designed!
It did end up costing about $30 because my loving wife had asked me to get a plant base for one of the heavier pots! She wanted three but, I want to make sure these will make her happy! Besides if she’s happy, I can get a new drill/driver set one of these days and she will not complain.
