Should I be concerned that the middle of my temp gauge on my WSM 22 holds moisture? Its not my main temp gauge after all.

Gerry, I thought that it was designed to hold water. There have been quite a few here lately that are having the same experience.

I use mine only to block up the hole that someone put in my cooker.

Might not be sealed correctly. Give Weber CS a call and ask...they will probably end up shipping you a new therm.

I noticed some condensation on mine too. I cooked the other day in the rain, then the next time I cooked I saw the condensation. I didn't really notice a problem with the temps, although I did not pay much attention bc I'm using a remote thermo, not the built in thermo.
