Tell me about this grill

Last week my wife and I visited her parents and I grabbed a shot of her dad's old grill, which is now used very little because he has a new Genesis II.



Notice the bottle of his special marinade.

Is it an ordinary, run-of-the-mill Weber gas grill? The aforementioned Genesis II replaced a grill that looked just like this one, except that it was older and the lid was red. Thanks!

That is an early 2000's Genesis Silver B. It is a very common, yet very capable grill. I think you should be a good SIL and take that poor old heap of junk off your FIL's hands. I am sure he would appreciate getting it out of his way.

He did offer it as a freebie but there was no way to get it into the car...and I'm a charcoal bigot, anyway.

But if anybody in the Bull Shoals, AR needs it I can probably set up a pretty good deal. But keep in mind that I work on commission.
