I sort of saw that one coming, super deal. I'm sure they were happy giving it to you since you bought the performer. That looks just like the silver b I redid a week ago.

And more good luck has come my way. When I did the first post I said that the people who I got the performer from had a green silver B also for sale. well today they were closing up the estate sale at 1pm and they are moving Monday. I went over at 12:30 and the Weber b was still there with a $60 tag on it. I asked if she would take less and she said " give me $20.00 and its yours" Yep The good luck fariy kissed me again.
I have the twin to this one so I'm going to flip it and pay for it and my performer. I already cleaned the tables and they look like new, the flavor bars are in great shap along with the grates also came with a full tank of propane. looks like this one will be like the performer a little soap and water and looking good and ready to go.

Better watch out with this buying grills to flip. It is like fostering puppies. It's too easy to fall in love with them. Pretty soon you will have more grills than you can count. Don't ask me how I know.

Well I got the $20.00 silver ready to go repainted the tub with high temp paint, painted the frame gloss black got, the tables and trays cleaned up. threw in a set of new grills I bought at a yard sale for $4.00, So with paint + grills + Silver I'm in it $28.87. If I can get $78.87 my $50.00 performer will have cost me nothing.
Wife and I are having a yard sale next weekend so will see.

Yeap I know, told the wife I might just keep the Silver (already have 4 webers) got the pending death look. I said "Just Kidding" of course if dosen't sell I'll just have to keep it.

Update, we had a yard sale this weekend and the OTS sold and the Char Broil smoker also sold but the Silver B I paid $20 for and refurbished did not. Yesterday I put it on the Prescott Craigslist for $125 and an hour later it was sold and on its way to its new home. I received 5 emails asking about it and 2 phone calls all within one hour. I was totally amazed at the response on a Monday morning there must be a real demand for Weber’s in good condition.
Guess what I’m doing this weekend, yep yard sale Weber hunting. Perfect thing for a retired guy like me to do, keeps me busy and make the hobby pay for itself and a little extra too.
