Not sure but I just had a sandwich a little bit ago and the heat from the peppers seemed to mellow a bit! Either way I'm still loving it!

It's possible they did mello a bit. Or you taste buds got burned and you're a little numb still!

thanks for that excellent contribution Vince. Pictures really go a long way. I will have to try the pepper stout beef soon b/c it just looks fabulous in all the pics people have posted. I absolutely hate green bell peppers, so I'm not sure what I'll do about that, but, we'll see!
