Picked up some nice T-bones the other day on sale. Decided to grill them up last night.

Here are the steaks getting to room temp.

And, seasoned with just some Montreal Steak.

Got some taters going in the oven. Here they are getting close.

Here is the grill set up for the steaks. Cast iron grate from my gas grill laid on top of four fire bricks. Using Royal Oak lump for fuel. Pics were taken after dark, so the flash takes away some of the detail.

Steaks after a flip.

And, plated. Like Sparky, gotta have a cold glass of milk!:)

Perfect Size too! Large, over an inch thick and Two!! Yeah, Perfect!

oh... did you only eet one?

Grate idea for the grate. I take mine camping to use on those rusty campsite grills but never thought to use them on the kettle. Maybe that's why nobody ever accused me of being the brightest bulb in the box. Great looking tbones

Looks like you cooked those steaks perfects and the taters look awesome too.!!! No offense but I hate seeing steaks that look like that and they call them T bones, they look more like bone in New York Strips, hardly any Filet Mignon on them.

nice cook! i will take mine medium please with some hot sauce for my taters. great idea with the fire bricks to get a nice hot fire!
