Bob Correll R.I.P. 3/31/2022 Dec 4, 2010 #1 Watched an old "Tyler's Ultimate" yesterday about fried chicken. One fellow used sweet tea in his brine, and I became intrigued. Has anyone here tried tea in their brine? Link to a FN recipe, not sure if it's the same brine that the guest used.

K Kruger TVWBB 1-Star Olympian Dec 4, 2010 #2 I use buttermilk for fried chicken so have not tried it there, but I have used it for duck to be smoked then used in salads. Worked well. Make sure the tea is strong.
