Swapping out valves on old manifolds

Have several different manifolds that was either propane or ng. Doing a restore on a genny 3000 that I’m converting from ng to Lp. However the swap of manifold doesn’t fit. Any harm in removing valves from a lp manifold and swapping it onto the ng manifold that fits?
Then I need to find that bracket and scale to finish off the conversion. But that’s another story.

John, it "might" work, but what I worry about is that you have a manifold and "valves" that are not designed for your particular grill. You would be better off finding a complete manifold that fits.

If the whole manifold does not fit the valves will not either
