Survived the Fearless Party

Thanks for the feedback to an earlier post (fearless party). Saturday was truly a busy day. After two consecutive days of smoking brisket I spent Saturday cooking 15 pounds of salmon, 64 pounds of butt and 35 chickens. There were 152 men, women and children at the party.

When I left the party still had three hours left and there was no more brisket, salmoon or baba ghanoush left. All that remained were about ten chicken halves, a half pan (out of three) of beans, and three butts that the host was keeping in reserve.

It was a long day and I stayed so busy I never had a chance for a picture. What did I do for dinner after such a long day? I grilled a couple of porterhouse steaks and baked potatoes.

The most amazing thing to me is that after such a long day feeding 152 people, you went home and grilled supper!
