I probably should've posted this in the atc thread, so hope its ok. I don't get to cook a lot some some of the club pros on here, ;) but I can create fab time throughout my day. Before work, at lunch, and a cut here and a weld there, and BAZINGA! You get this...

Here is the octopus!

Here is/are the plugs and connections.

The male plug to the left is the power supply. Female end has to be on the power side so if you drop it, it doesn't short to ground. Safety first! ;) The middle plug is female and power out to fan. Also safety first. The plug to the right is the factory probe. All the same technology. I used two, 6' headphone extension cables. I had a universal power pack, and again, repurposed to the current hobby.

Here it is working

Internal connections

All closed up and ready to roll. Battery use or ac power!

This was a no soldering project. Knowing where to jam in some wires, a bit of electrical tape, heat shrink, 2-6' headphone extension cables, a power supply, and some time. Total cost... 0$ I had all this crap laying around the house too! I will be curing some cast iron tomorrow for Sundays carne asada madness! I will post pics of all of it. Thanks for looking.
