Sunday roast beef last night. Beef round tip roast, seasoned simply with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cooked it with reverse sear.
Indirect heat on the Genesis for about 1.5 hours at 275, to an internal temp of about 105, then removed it to rest while grill heated up for sear:
Seared a couple more minutes on each side over full blast grill. Looks good! The open flame is the remnants of some oak smoke wood and beef fat burning off when I cranked the temp for the sear.
Did some corn and hearts of romaine too while the beef seared.
