IF I were you, I'd ask Mark over and tell him to bring a bottle of wine. He'll probably go to the store and buy a bottle of Ripple, but that should go good with the ribs. LOL

For those on this board named Mark, I was not referring to any if you, it's Larry's neighbor Mark.

LMAO, sorry guys, a bit of an inside joke, and a very funny one . . . let's just say I'm a bit of a wine collector and it's interesting when someone shows-up at your house (when you're not there) and helps himself to your collection that you've aged for at minimum a decade like he's picking up a six pack of Miller Lite brewed two weeks ago . . .

I too am feeling slightly green today as the booze flowed way to easy last night.
Tonight is do your own thing for dinner night and I'll do mine. So I'm gonna do a planked Salmon, (picked up a beautiful piece of King from Whole Foods), some jasmine rice and a grilled tomato and baby bok choy. Sounds kinda wimpy after all these pics of ribs, steak (with butter), talk of fatties and beer. Oh well, don't get to eat fish often enough, SO hates it.....so that's what I'm doing.

Ok so here tis.....wow really good...but I'm sorry to say i went all heart healthy and skipped the rice.....ENJOY!!!

Dang, that salmon looks fantastic. I've never tried baby bok choy, but after looking at that, I certainly will now. Great job JM

J, there's no shame in having to eat "girly" food from time to time. LOL!!! Just kidding, I do cedar planked salmon all the time and if my SO had her way I'd be eating all this Kashi sh%$ she's got laying around the house too. It all looks great! Nothing like a healthy meal to give you the extra boost to carry a heavy purse around, LOL, just kidding again, here's one of my CEDAR SALMON cooks, however, notice I still had a mayonnaise filled dish in there to remind me I'm a man on the edge of a heart attack, LOL!!!! Again Just kidding, it's the beer.

EDIT: OK, we're getting into breathalizer on my laptop territory again. No offense, just a drunken attempt at humor from a guy who should really be eating more fish and greens. There's a skinny person inside this body crying to get out LOL!!!

Larry, I already saw some of your salmon cooks.. they helped give me the inspiration to do the salmon in the first place.

Who's carrying a purse now sissy boy??

EDIT: me too...I'm 260 lbs and my Dr. is screaming for me to be 190...LOL...fat chance (pun intended).

It's all in fun....I can take it and dish it out!!

But I'm off the wagon tomorrow, pulled some pulled pork out of the freezer....Sandwiches and potato salad for dinner...YUM!!!

My SO hates the fact that my food hasn't even digested and I'm already planning my next meal.... sometimes I even plan dinner over the breakfast table.....just to piss SO off!! LOL

J, I think we were separated at birth! Sounds all too familiar. This too is my "last weekend," I've got to get it together.

Getting ready to un-foil the ribs for the "1" out of the 3-2-1. Finally my stoker has settled in and I'm rock solid. Just tasted the slaw and it's killer!!! Much better with the Chipotle.

J, The salmon looks great, although I don't eat salmon it still looks very good. Love the veggies, esp the Bok Choy, very nice indeed.

J, I think we all do that at one time or another. I know that when Larry R and I get together, we always talk about the next one before the one we are doing is even done. If I weren't going fishing next weekend with my brother I am sure we would be smoking something, but there is always the next weekend.
For those Miller Lite drinkers, they have a new beer out that has been out for quite some time now. It's MGD light, and it's very good. If you liked MGD you'll love MGD light. Very smooth to drink, or in most of our cases, guzzle.

Hi LarryR,

Do you put a rub or bbq sauce on your stuffed fatties?

If so, can you give me the rub recipe? And what temp do you cook them at...and for how long?

Thanks!

Love the veggies, esp the Bok Choy,

Bryan, admit it, you've never eating Bok Choy without having it drowned in butter and then another layer of butter added it to it.

Pictures are updated . . . I'm almost out of beer

I know you got wine....break out the cork screw....sissy boy!!!

JUST Kidding....you said NO HANGOVER for work...so don't do it...unless you really want to. LOL

EDIT: My favorite saying is I'll never drink again.....at least not until next time!!!

LOL!!! You know me well Bud. Yeah as healthy as bok choy is for you, it wouldn't be after I was done with it.

Larry, your pics look great tonight, nice choice of a camera.

Wow, what a great meal, pictures are finalized. Journey rocking in the background and no one here to interrupt my eating/drinking. Ribs were perfect, I'm not a big fan of BBs but they turned out great. I only ended-up eating 1/2 a rack as I've had 18 beers which I'm sure is bloating me a bit, but the 1/2 I had was great. The fatty had pepper jack cheese in it w/Wild Willy's rub and it was amazing. Highly recommend the Neely's sweet and spicy slaw with the chipotle substitute, it was killer. Just disconnected all my electronics and I'm going to finish my 19th beer, take a shower and pass out. What a great grill/smoke weekend, if only everyday could be like today.

So for the cheese filled fatty what was your method? Did you cut it in half and dig it out then fill and re-assemble? Theres more cheese there then sasage! That is the best looking fattie I've ever seen

Oh and 19 beers?? I think its time you switch to vodka

Wish I could have nursed my hangover with some today, but I had to work. However the co-workers were big fans of the pulled pork, I have a funny feeling I'll be asked to do it again in the future.
