Summit Kamodo S6 question

Got this today from Ace Hardware. They assemble for free thank goodness.



It shows this in the assembly instructions but doesn't explain what it is for.



It doesn't mention or reference it anywhere else. does anyone know what it is for?

It’s to clean out the gas assist tube should it become clogged.

Thanks for info. The owners manual says to use pipe cleaners to clean the tube out.

Actually, no, it is not for cleaning. It is a safety holder for a match, to start the propane ignitor in case the "pseudo-electric starter spark thingy" (technical term) does not work and you do not have to reach your hand in all the way....

You place a match in the loops (separate the wires a bit), light the match, then reach in with it the light the propane. Shown here on a gasser...

Nifty I had one on a used performer for years and never understood what the heck it was for. Now I have one on the WSC and I know what it is now but still won’t use it...
