Substituting honey for brown sugar

My wife decided to buy 5 jars of homegrown honey last week from one of her co-workers and I'm trying to find ways to use it.

I have a homemade barbecue sauce recipe that calls for dark brown sugar and I'm wondering if I could use honey in it's place. What do you guys think?

The sauce is a KC-Memphis style sauce is is fairly sweet.

Well, there sure won't be a chemical explosion. I say go for it! If you don't like it, send it to me! I'll weld my grill shut with it!

I would substitute half of the Dark Brown Sugar with the Honey. I think the two together make for a nice sweetner in BBQ sauce.

Save it for a cold remedy, hot honey and leamon cures what ales ya!

For a glaze mix 1/4 honey with 3/4 of your favorite rub.

Make honey and bran muffins, use it on pancakes, add to ice cream, give it back to the bees, they won't have to work so hard.
