Stuffed Pork Chops and Keilbasa

TVWBB 1-Star Olympian
Made a stuffing of Jimmy Dean Sage sausage, onion, and mushroom on the Kitchen stove.

Caramelized a sweet onion on my banjo burner.

Stuffed chops direct

Keilbasa direct and some corn

Mixed some sauerkraut with the caramelized onion and some brown sugar

Pork chops and sausage on top of the kraut mixture

Then added some more kraut and cooked until the chops were done.

Looks like an old German dish I eat Kassleription, or something like that. Good eating!

That meal looks larapin! Question. What type of kraut did you use? Canned or homade? I never much cared for kraut until I tried canned Bavarian style which is slightly sweet. Bet the brown sugar you added to your kraut would be very good. Will definitely try what you did.

We often add some dark sirup when we fry up some cabbage/kraut..But i guess the brown suggar works just as good.

I Just Made P chops. Now I want them Again! That is one fine looking meal. Never thought of B Sugar in Kraut YUM!

one thing REALLY bothers me.....
I've been eetin' like a pig for years...
been grillin' pig all my adult life AND my mid to late teens...

I ain't NEVER heard of nat'l P1G day!!!
And that really "pigs" me off!!!

This is a "must try" for me. Going to add some apples into that stuffing too. The wife doesn't dig shrooms. (I know, she's crazy, but I married her anyway).
