stuffed peppers and others stuff.....

a while back there were tons of stuffed peppers going on.... well i had to jump on the bandwagon. i made these a couple weeks ago.... they were pretty good. not made the typical way with a tomato sauce....

started off with garlic, onion, and a bit of pepper diced up for the meat.



added that to some browned ground beef...



then i added some leftover rice.... that's not just any rice, thats my awesome arroz con pollo .... there wasnt any chicken left in it though.



the fillers... i wanted to add cheese, but didnt want shredded. i went with monterey jack cheese slices that i layered in with the meat mixture.



ready for the grill!

oh yeah... i also threw some chicken on there. not much, just 18 legs!

That's a lot of good food there for your family Becky. They're lucky to have a mom/grillmaster like you.

Wow, lucky husband! That all looks delicious Becky. I love stuffed peppers.
 
Becky, do you have any leftovers?
I'm hungry again and i'd eet a cupullove those peppers an'bout half dozen of those chixsticks an' toss in a few snausages for good measure!

thanks again everyone.... and believe it or not, i didnt even get a pepper!! my husband liked it so much that i let him have mine for lunch the next day. only means i have to make more!
