Hello all,
I previously posted about apple wood I could get at a good price but was concerned about the small 1" diameter branches but was advised I could use them in my kettle grill. At the moment I'm bbqing a 20lb turkey on my Weber performer indirect heat using the small pieces of apple wood. WOW what a smell coming out, I'm going to pickup the bin from the gentleman. It's more than I need. Approx one square yard. I'm thinking of maybe cutting them up to 4" pieces and storing them. Any advise on storage tips so no insects or mold will ruin it. This should last me for years. Do you think burlap sacks would work also.
Thanks for you help.
