Hi everyone. Im still alive and kicking, its just been a busy couple of months with family issues and work getting in the way of things. I hope and pray all of you have been safe and healthy, and looking forward to the cooking of tasty meals for this upcoming thanksgiving.

I'm strictly non-alcoholic by choice, but occasionally have been known to drink a mug of au jus or chile' sauce.

Do you ever mix the au jus and the chili sauce?

No. Sadly I never had them at the same time. I should qualify that the "Chile' " sauce is not Chili sauce. Its a home made old family recipe made by the Mexican husband of an older Coworker. Translation, its top secret and I cant get the recipe.

They only make it once or twice a year, usually to go with Tamales. Ive been the fortunate recipient of some of those with the Chile' sauce, so as a thank you, that last batch of Pork Butts I did on my WSM, about a pound and a half went home with them. The lady doesnt eat pork, but her husband put it to use in some tacos and sent back happy reviews.
