I had picked up a couple of steaks the other day. Had a rib eye left so threw it on the kettle tonight. The original plan was to make a pan sauce but I had some produce that needed to be used up so I went that way.
I grilled the rib eye and a slice of sourdough, topped with a salsa type concoction of grilled pinepple, red pepper, onion, garlic, and some heated black beans flavored with ezpazote and hot new mexico's. I didn't have time to make the black beans from scratch so used canned, I wouldn't do that again! The pics don't do it justice the flavor was amazing!
