Stainless steel cooking grates

I just received from Amazon my replacement SS cooking grates for my Weber gasser. Is there any "recommended" seasoning or breakin-in process before I use for the first time??
 
Q1. What kind did you get?
(Solid rods, or formed metal)

Q2. Weber or some other mfgr?

I'm thinking about replacing the grates on the used Weber gasser that I recently picked-up.
 
i have the same grates on my silver C. no seasoning needed,just start cooking on them. i don't bother brushing them until after the warm up on the next cook.
