Spritz questions

When people say they are using apple juice or cider as a spritz, are they talking straight up juice or apple cider vinegar? Also, anyone use dill pickle juice to spritz? I have all of these, and would like to try the pickle juice. Just curious if anyone has tried this and what the results were.

I use apple juice/water mix . 75% apple juice 25 % water for my ribs , that just what I prefer . As for apple cider vinegar or pickle juice , never tried it . Not much info , sorry . Maybe someone else will chime in with more info .
 
I sometimes do 50% apple juice and 50% apple cider.

Never done pickle juice... Try it with a half a slab of ribs see how it comes out.
 
I use straight apple juice on ribs. It doesn't add any noticeable flavor, but the sugar builds up a nice carmelized glaze that adds to the bark. I used to spritz briskets with beef broth, but not lately.
