Spirit Silver A 500 restoration

Long time lurker here. Got many ideas and learned a lot from this website. Thanks for everyone who posted their stories and rebuilds. It gave me inspiration to pick my FIRST gas grill and tackle a restore. Here we go...

Tables were cracked and missing grates, flavorizor bars, burners were shot and cart was not aligned correctly.

Removed old carbon so i can build my own

Gave the logo some fresh paint

Cut some cedar wood to replaced the cracked table and handle

And finally done.

Total cost in parts and paint: $161.68

Cant see the green that well because I wax the porcelain and it captured the clear blue sky off the reflection

Looks fantastic. Wow you got that thing shined up! Nice job. I think it could look even better with a bottom shelf. Just looks like something is missing imho...
