SP-E-335 (LP) - Fuel Gauge?

My SPX-435 had a regular manual fuel gage. I was not impressed with that grill over all though. They don't make them like they use too IMO. I can understand buying one for the convenience of a clean new grill but if you are able to restore or refresh an old school Weber or buy one from somebody you will have a grill that's more reliable and will Outlast a new one. Most likely for a fraction of the cost.

That's kind of sad as that 4-burner + sear burner Genesis is the flagship of the Genesis line now. I see some people post on various FB groups that they feel their new one cooks better than a classic one they bought it to replace. Maybe! I would like to see what they have to say 5 years from now, though.:smilekettle:

I wonder if the new shape and design of the burner tubes are more efficient than the older style. The flame looks more concentrated.

I've used a lot of different Weber gas barbecues from 1985 up till current and I haven't found one that doesn't cook well or do everything that I ask it to very well. In my opinion I don't think the new ones cook any better than the old ones. I currently have and use both old and new Webers on a regular basis. I do like some of the new ish ones the Genesis LX grills but not as much as the old ones for the simple fact they just won't last compared to the old ones.
