Soy Vay!

Mahi Mahi was $4.99/lb so I grabbed a filet for myself and some BSB for my wife. I marinated the chicken in "Soy Vay" Island Teriyaki for about 90 minutes. It's a teriyaki with pineapple juice, ginger, sesame oil and sesame seeds. I have to say, it's probably the best off the shelf marinade I've ever had. Also marinated the Mahi in it for about 20 minutes. Accompanied by Jasmine Rice with chopped flat leaf parsley and a salad of red pepper, baby carrots, cukes and brown tomato with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt and pepper.

My wife's plate. Had to get the action shot, as she was hungry...

yea, it might be good but the wife is allergic to pineapple. also why is pineapple always included in a island or hawaii recipe ?

Awesome looking dish! I'll have to give the Soy Vay a try as well. Thanks for the pics and recommendation.

That sauce is really awesome! I love it on chicken, pork, and beef too. It is really good mixed with some hot rooster (siracha sp?) sauce too. Great idea on the fish. Looks real good.

I've never tasted dolphin. Tough to find.
