Some recent cooks

Smoked some pork for memorial day weekend. Ribs, pork shoulder and some beer brats. I forgot to get pics of the ribs sliced.

Oh and grilled some chicken thighs. These are probably my favorite to do. A nice brine over night, seasoned up and cooked indirect for about an hour. The color is just amazing in my opinion.

I poached the brats in beer, sweet peppers and onions. Then grilled them and cooked the peppers/onions on a black iron pan.

Also did a couple pizzas on the OTG.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking

Everything looks great! What kind of smoker do you have in that 1st pic?

It is a Horizon off set wood smoker. Horizon used to make the Oklahoma Joes that you you see in the big box stores. I believe Char-Griller now owns the Oklahoma Joe brand and Horizon went back to building their brand. (Horizon)

It is entirely made of 1/4 thick steel. Holds heat and will last a lifetime. I love using a stick burner for smoking food.

Jay, that is not just BBQ it is also art! Great mix of styles and techniques. Thanks for sharing with us...
