Some Pork Shoulders

Smoked a few pork shoulders to practice for an amateur comp i'm thinking about entering.

These were injected with Allegro marinade and rubbed with a home made experimental rub.

These were injected with Mojo juice and rubbed with olive oil, minced garlic, equal parts salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. Made for some damn good Cubans for lunch that day!

Thanks everyone! I was just going to take a picture of all the cubans cut up, but my wife insisted on presentation and plating LOL. They were good as hell, first time making Cuban Sammiches at home. Used the George Foreman Grill to press them too!
 
The Cuban sandwich is the highest station a pork butt can aspire to. (Clearly not true , but it looks great) :cool:
 
Threw this together this morning for lunch. The Southern Gold is a mustard based BBQ sauce that I thought would go good with it.
