I did the same with one I had, you can't buy them new anymore and they are a little harder to find in the wild.

Are you thinking about replacing that stunning black hood with a maroon one? Really, either would look great, I just like black hoods, and that Platinum one is extra nice.

I really like black lids too but they they are getting harder to find in decent condition. I sold that black Platinum series grill last summer.
