Some festive cocktail ideas.


 
One of my coworkers used to make different flavors of holiday moonshine.
Lemmon drop, pumpkin pie, apple pie, cinnamon something and there are probably a few others.
I shared my abalone diving harvests with him and he would always hook me up.

Another friend used to do a holiday apple pie drink out of Everclear.
That one was pretty good for not being moonshine.
There are a few easy recipes for the Everclear ‘shine drinks that don’t disappoint online.
That’s where he got his recipe from.
 
There is something special about passing around a jar of shine amongst family and friends during the holidays.

I pulled out a nice sized jar of apple cobbler at my mom’s place Christmas Eve a few years ago.
My mom caught us and asked what that was ?
I told her it was ‘shine. She grabbed it then hammered down several large swigs and said “oh yeah this is good” then proceeded to tell us stories about how they made their own during WW11 on the farm our family had in Germany.

Yeah that livened the old girl to share some WW11 stories.
Our family are the Mueller’s from Hindenburg now Poland.
Yes we are the Millers 😎.
