Sold my Franken Grill. Sad

In the interest of domestic tranquility, I put my FrankenGrill on CL on Monday. Three burner w/side burner. Mid 90's. Has the bluish grey flecked plastic tables (one to the left and the right one flipped up. Over the course of its 20+ year life, I replaced the lid (thanks Webber) to the new rounded style with the thermo built in, pulled off the sheet metal tray, and added the cage style floor. Countless flavor bars, regulators, and a couple grill sets. New stainless grates (yard sale -never used them as I loved the cast iron). Burners still rock solid.

$125, and I had about 12 emails in half a day. Sold to the first guy to see it. Father in law bought it -Going to a newlywed couple. Kinda cool as that was the first big gift my wife to be ever gave me. She bought it for me, but thought we should keep it at her place. I knew I had a winner when that went down.

Sad to see it go. New one has some big shoes to fill for sure.

Wow, that must have been hard to part with. I am with a Bruce: what’s on deck as a replacement?

summit 670. converted from NG ti Propane. Frankly struggling with getting it to cook low. I have another post on that. While not buyers remorse, I am a little frustrated right now with it. Will be cooking the next three nights on it to see if I can figure it out.

simply have too many other grills to have kept it.
