Smoking Turkey with Tender Skin

I have smoked a number of larger birds and have usually been disappointed with rubbery tough skin.

What are the tricks to develop skin with nice color, good flavor and reasonable texture?

Temps higher than smoking temps. Also, if you're brining let her dry in the fridge overnight.

Agree. Higher temps crisped up the skin on mine.

All of the above plus rubbing the skin with oil/butter prior to cooking.
