Can you smoke nuts on a kettle? I'd love to smoke ome this weekend, but don't feel like taking my smoker back to my parent's house with me.

I am thinking I could put the fire to one side and the nuts on the other. Any ideas?

Andy,
I do nuts all of the time on the smoker. I do almonds similar to the one that Chris had posted. I spread mine in a disposable aluminum tray pierced with small holes. Pour Tabasco sauce on them and let them soak it up for an hour or so, then on the smoker for about an hour. Everybody gobbles them up! Enjoy.
