After nearly 2 years of trying to find the right smoker to buy I decided on an 18.5 WSM and could not be any happier in fact I really have no desire to build the offset I planned on building with the tank I bought I just want a 22.5 to add to the collection haha! I was told to come here the day I bought it by a guy at Home Depot in Overland Park , Kansas maybe I'll run across him on here some day but that sealed the deal for me ! Didn't even make it to truck before someone had to tell me I made the right choice
 
Nicely done Colby, you did pick the right machine and you found the right forum on how to make that WSM really perform. Welcome....we're glad to have you here.
 
Thanks guys I smoked my first spare ribs 2 weekends ago they were the best I've ever had! This isn't first time I've cooked on smoker though cooked on 100 gallon smoker all last year with great results but can honestly say I like the wsm more
