Software, firmware, hardware, wifi, Bluetooth, maybe manufactures are just plain overstepping themselves in trying to make a grill with all the wiz bang techno gadgetry. My 6 year old Traeger pro 22 has worked flawlessly for me. Has done everything I have asked it to do. And I could not begin to guess how many pounds of pellets I have ran through it. No it does not do everything perfect. Somethings not good at all, but when I decide to cook on it I have faith that it will fire up and do the job. Just my humble opinion.
